Aston Martin is the British grand tourer maker founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford, its name combining one founder surname with the Aston Hill hillclimb. It won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1959 and is known worldwide as the James Bond car since Goldfinger. It builds cars in Gaydon and Saint Athan, and has raced in Formula 1 again since 2021.
