It’s the fifth iteration of the A6 Allroad, and Mat’s about to put this one through its paces to see if it has what it takes to stack up against its predecessors. What’s more, he’ll also see how the practicality compares to some of the latest Audi estates and SUVs available today. But first up, let’s check out the design… Up front, the A6 Allroad sports a few design differences from the regular A6. It’s equipped with an all-new lower bumper, along with a unique and different grille design. There are also additional vents in the lower bumper to help @Chrysler Airflow through to the wheels. Along the side, there are widened wheel arches at the front and back, coupled with black cladding on the surrounds and on the sills - you’ll also find black satin roof bars on the top. At the back, once again there’s a new bumper, coupled with some 100% real exhaust tips! On the inside, the design language mirrors any recent new Audi release. There’s a large swooping digital dial and infotainment screen, coupled with a passenger screen sitting across the remainder of the dash. There are soft-touch and Alcantara materials along the dash, although reach lower down and you’ll find some scratchy black plastics. The A6 Allroad is fitted with comfortable, figure-hugging sports seats, and there’s a decent enough amount of storage in the cabin. There are two engine choices available for the A6 Allroad. The car we have here is equipped with the @Bentley 3 Litre V6 turbo diesel, and this delivers 299hp and 580Nm to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch. You can also choose a 2-litre 4-cylinder plug-in hybrid, and although it comes with a higher power output of 367hp, we think the diesel is the better choice of the two. So it sounds like a great car, right? Well, of course, it doesn’t come cheap. The new A6 Allroad starts from £69,700, but for the car we have here in this video, with lots of options added? You’re looking at north of £90,300! So is it worth it? Let us know what you think in the comments! You can't touch your phone when you drive. It's ok to have 3 TV's right in your face😅.

I am still surprised Audi has not made the "all-road" RS6 yet considering Porsche made the Taycan Cross Turismo.

a great car ruined by unnecessary 'features' and consumer trends

This car is enormous and has less boot space than a previous-gen A4. The sloping roofline also means you can’t stack anything vertically. It completely defeats the purpose of an estate car. Such a shame...

Boot divider that used to be standard feature on well (and not really) specced models is now considered as something EXTRAORDINARY and SPECIAL...

It’s funny watching Watson’s antics—he’s so fussy, yet soft and clumsy at the same time. It must be quite a struggle for him to change a spare tire! 😭🤣
