“I fit back here! 💦Uhhh💦😩” 😂😂😂
1The 2011-2016 Town & Country models were the most underrated minivans of the “post-minivan” era. We bought a 2016 brand-new and enjoyed its utility, versatility, power and faithful service until selling it recently to a friend. Granted, we did have to get the transmission rebuilt around 93,000 miles or so. That said, it cost thousands less when new than comparably equipped vans, and when stowing the seats, it was like having a truck with a covered bed. We miss it.
1Another thing about our Town & Country after hitting a certain amount of miles it did start to stick in first gear but once you parked, turned it off, turned it back on. It was fine and shifted normally.
1i have a 2014 chrysler town and country same color but fully loaded i love it i love how it rides i love how it handles i just love the look and feel of high class lol i dont have kids but i choose the town and country bc of every feature it had and the ride best darn van ever shifts like butter
1If you skip step 2 on the rear seats the 2 rear seats turn into rear facing seats so if you go to the drive in you can back onto your spot and watch the movie sitting on a rear bench seat or they can be for tailgating. I had one of these and miss it. I regret not buying another over the Dodge Journey the other half wanted.
1All of these have weird "loose" feeling transmissions. It's part of the charm. The 6 speed auto is actually quite bulletproof when properly serviced though.
1The 3.3 and 3.8 V6 were overhead valve units with the cam in the block that date back to 1990. The 4.0L V6 was a SOHC engine and was a larger version of the 3.5L unit that was used in the LH and 1st gen Pacifica. I think it was in 2011 that all those engines switched to the 3.6L and the other ones weren't available anymore. You're right to not trust that 6 speed... they finally fix all the bugs on the 4 speed and replace it with this thing and (of course) there's issues again.
1I remember when I was about eight or nine years old we got a brand new 2012 town and country this is my childhood family car. And holy shit the memories.
1Years ago (in 2015) I needed a rental car & the only thing that was available was a 2015 Town & Country Touring, so I had to take it...not bad.
1I was hoping there would be an honorable mention of this car from the movie Kidnap with Halle Berry where she drove this exact red Town & Country touring and chased her son’s kidnappers across Louisiana
1My sister had a 2013 without any issues.
1The biggest comfort complaint has always been the mid-row seats. However, that's the tradeoff for having Stow-n-go. Removable 2nd row seats are more comfortable, but then one needs to physically remove them. I'd have no place to store them.
1I love the stow n go. Flat loading space, no. Storing seats or lifting. Also perfect storage spaces for luggage on van trips. Gr kids love the hideaway spaces overhead & controls in back.
1Im sold! ❤ Thx dude
1I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Chrysler without an analog clock
1This platform was also rebadged as the RAM C/V from 2012-2015.
1My family had this car
1The 3.3 and 3.8 were pushrod engines, not overhead cam. Motorweek got that wrong also. Stow-n-go is exclusive to Chrysler/Dodge/Stalantis. No other van has stowable middle seats. Otherwise good review. They're great vans!
1My grandparents love their Chrysler/Dodge minivans, to the point that as retired people, they own two: a 2008/2009 Red one and a 2012 White one
1I have a 2010 vw routan which is just a rebadged town and country and i loved it. It currently needs some work now though
