I bought a '69 Nova in 1975, and immediately took my driver's test in it. That car wouldn't die...
1yooo. yesterday night i was searching a nova review and your channel didn't pop out so i helped myself woth some random dude, but it wasn't the same. What U see now? YOUR REVIEW. Im so happy, this is a sign!
1Zack, The Nova was Chevrolet's 'Compact' car in this era. The Chevelle was the 'Intermediate'. The Caprice and Impala would be examples of 'Full size' Chevys of that decade. The lamentable Vega was their Sub-Compact model.
1What an OG. The beauty of the car after the restoration process is just priceless. Here's to many more years to that Nova.
1Not only do I love that car, but I also love when Zack does a review where he's a little *zaney* or laughs like a madman.
1I never cared much for Novas but I respect them. They're still very common and easy to modify. Any old car still rolling around is good and to still be with the original owner is incredible. No modern car will last as long as this old Nova can. His license plates are about twenty years expired though. I still have my first car. It already 20 years old when my grandfather bought it and even older when I got my license but I'll never get rid of it.
1I had a 1974 Chevy Nova SS when I was in high school back in the early 80"s, and I regret the day I sold it. Seeing the interior in this brings back so many memories. This car looks so much like the one I had with the exception of the color, and the 74 model had the bulky 10 MPH front and rear bumpers. This is a beautiful car and it's nice to see that the owner maintained it over his lifetime.
1Love the ol school blaupunkt stereo. Great car, nothing fancy just an old school muscle car that appears to be taken care of and driven. Not a garage queen like so many classic and antique cars.
1I just found out your channel. This car is my dad’s and you did a great job on the review of his beauty.
1Wish you had a 88 olda cutlas supreme with the European headlighys my fave ever. Have owned 2 including in 94 for my firat wedding
1Excellent story and a cool car. Glad to see you up here in North Jersey Zac!
1As those photos confirm, it is a ‘73, but they changed both the front and rear with parts from the previous generation Nova.
1I'm no expert, but this doesn't look like a '73 Nova. I had one in the 70s and the front parking lights were in the grill , not in the bumper. The bumpers don't look the same either. On my 73, the rear bumper had a rubber strip that ran across the entire bumper from side to side. During the restoration they must have used non-73 parts.
