The founder of Ineos bought the first ever Land Rover ever made had it restored and drove it across the Gobi desert for over 1000 miles. It’s a very cool story if you haven’t checked it out.
1I'm surprised Doug didn't compare it with the Jeep Gladiator at all. I mean the comparison between the two seems obvious, more than with the Tacoma anyway.

1i'm so glad the toot horn exists, i've been saying we need a quieter, friendlier horn for communication so people know you're not angry at them. so you can say "hey buddy the light's green" or "you left your gas cap open" or "your lights are turned off"

1Minneapolis just got a dealer. Where the Alfa/Fiat dealer was. I think this has a better volume chance than the last lineup 😂
1I like everything about the Grenadier but I think not including a standard gauge cluster in front of the steering wheel was a miss. I think a beautiful mechanical tach and speedometer with a screen in-between would have been a great throwback and fit with the character of the vehicle
1I bought my Grenadier after watching your review and have loved it ever since. East Coast offlroading is a bit different than ovrrlanding through Moab, but whatever. It's been fun, and I'll never get rid of it. Thanks, Doug!
1With F150s easily reaching $90,000 these days on the higher trims this thing could actually be competitive.
1My father got one of the first ones delivered in Texas (not the quartermaster) and immediately did the Alcan 5000 with it. It was the first one to go to the Arctic Circle! It has its weird quirks like any car but it is a blast to drive. The best part is watching people’s expressions when they try and figure out if it’s a weird looking G-wagon or Jeep.
1Honestly the "2 horn" system should be more common place.
1I love how their cockpits and layouts are really similar and almost replicate various airplane cockpits. The buttons , writing etc.
1i own one, got 30k km on it so far and it is beautiful !
1It's perfect. I couldn't agree with the guy who made these, more. It's nice knowing there's still some people with taste and character left in the world.
