going on road trips and camping in an unconventional car is oddly the type of trip I really want to do
1I liked the music in the video & the roadtrip! You actually put me on a new song. (American Cars) and M83 with ending photo dump was awesome!! 🙏 Next month i'm doing a 1600 mile roadtrip with my wife from Prunedale CA, to Astoria OR & back using only the hwy 101 & the coast in our 2012 Audi A7 3.0t Sportback. We have two hotels but on the way back we are sleeping in the cars hatch. I hope our sleep isn't as bad as you're sleep was in this GR hatch haha!

1I’ve slept in mine a few times. It definitely helps to put a bag or pillow in the gap between the seats.
1I've been roadtripping and just rambling about in a wide variety of vehicles for more than 45 years. I've slept (not always during a roadtrip) in a '72 Super Beetle, a '76 Grand Prix, an '86 Subaru GL Hatchback, a '91 Nissan Pathfinder, Saturn wagons, '12 Hyundai Elantra Touring, and a '17 Subaru Impreza Hatchback. The Pathfinder was the best, as I could fit perfectly in a sleeping bag. Zack, your video makes me want to take a trip and follow the Michigan coast up and around.

1The reserve tank is about 50 miles past empty, not when the the low warning light is on. I've tested it multiple times before lol. I definitely agree lack of armrest or lack or an adjustable one sucks. My wife has a cx5 and and it has one but its far back that resting it is not ideal.
1Looks like a fun road trip. For one or two people without much stuff there's no reason why these can't go camping.
