Porsche eShift, anyone?
1Koenigsegg Tech....
1Sort your mic out
1Back in the day, Porsche had a clutch less manual called a Sportmatic, you rowed through the gears without a clutch pedal and it worked very well
1A major breakthrough. Remains to see if it will be reliable on the long term. 😎
1thank you for the video, there is something going on between the voice audio and the audio from the car, its a bit annoying. Its hardly a massive problem, but, think the quality of video you usually make deserves better.
1I very much look forward to receiving my Manuale. The idea of having the option to drive in auto or manual is quite intriguing. Years from now this decision by Ferrari will be properly celebrated…
1Does it feel like a video game? One thing that I like about my real (faaaar cheaper) manual transmission car is how mechanical it feels. If I put my hand on the stick, I can feel the vibration of the engine. If I mess it up, it reprimands me. It makes it feel more involved and rewarding. I think this is better than nothing so, if we can't have real manual transmissions, this is the next best thing.
1Great film. More please!
1What a brilliant invention: make it standard on EVERY Ferrari!
1Best for both worlds
1Now, if it only had a Daytona dash and real gauges...
1obviously i can't afford this car, but if mazda/toyota etc.. brings out EVs that have this feature, i would just drive in manual all the time.
1Guys. Autocar used to make the best car videos on the planet. Please go take a look at the new hagerty video on this same car. It's 100x better in every way. The editing, cinematography and sound quality here are very low grade. The audio is incredibly bad. The presenter is terribly boring. Sad to see what happened to this channel. Why even try at this point?
1No, don't believe Ferrari's misinformation , THIS IS NOT A MANUAL STICK GEARBOX. It's interesting technology but it's a basically a synthetic manual. Why can't Ferrari not just produce a new manual box rather than a pretend one? Bring back the genuine manual gearbox Ferrari.
1Love this car BUT, just make a “real” manual…if people can afford this car, they can afford the 40-50k for a real manual as an option.
1If there’s no clutch pedal, this feature is pointless.
1NOT a manual...NO THX Ferrari!!
1Save over 100k, get more interior space & practicality & buy a Luce.
1regardles of how real it feels. Knowing that it is in fact not a real mechanical manual is such a turn-off. I believe they made it to give the brand back some authenticity after the Luce debacle. And this only made it worse imo.
